Weakness Weakness, numbness or paralysis in the face, arm or leg - especially on one side of body
Vision Problems Sudden blurred or decreased vision in one or both eyes
Trouble Speaking Difficulty speaking or understanding simple statements
Dizziness Loss of balance or coordination, especially when combined with another symptom
Headache Sudden severe and unexplained headache, often described as the worst headache in your life
The Stroke Recovery Association of Edmonton offers support and information to survivors and their caregivers. We are an informal support group who meet on the last Monday of every month at the Glenrose Hospital in Edmonton at 7 p.m. Guests and visitors are always welcome.
